Aussie grass-fed steak is already amazing—but have you ever tried finishing it with a rich, umami-packed Soy Sauce Butter Sauce? 🤤

This simple yet game-changing sauce takes your steak to the next level, adding depth, balance, and a beautiful glaze that pairs perfectly with the juicy meat. Best of all? You only need 3 ingredients!
How to Make Soy Sauce Butter Sauce for Steak
Step 1: Cook Your Steak
- Pat dry your Australian grass-fed steak and season with sea salt & black pepper.
- Sear both sides over medium-high heat, flipping every 30 seconds for even cooking.
- Use a meat thermometer for perfect doneness (I go for medium-rare, take the steak out at 60°C, it will continue to cook to about 63°C).
- Once cooked, rest the steak while we make the sauce!
Step 2: Make the Magic Soy Sauce Butter Sauce
- In the same pan with the steak juices, add 20g unsalted butter. Let it melt & bubble.
- Add 30ml Cinwaan Soy Sauce (avoid mass-produced soy sauce, as it’s too salty!).
- Pour in 30ml mirin and stir well, letting it thicken slightly into a glossy, flavorful sauce.
Step 3: Serve & Enjoy!
- Pour the sauce over your steak or use it as a dipping sauce.
- For the ultimate combo, fry 2 eggs in the same butter sauce and drizzle some extra over the top! 🍳
This buttery, umami-packed sauce is a game-changer for steak lovers. Simple, quick, and guaranteed to impress!
